A 3DS ROM modify tool has been released according to GBATEMP. It is a magic tool, which can make the 3DS roms run on lower 3DS system versions. It will be useful when you get Gateway 3DS card to play 3DS roms as Gateway 3DS card can only be used on the 3DS firmware version 4.1 — 4.5.
3DS Rom-Tool Introduction:
- Read 3DS ROM
- Show the relative information of Rom (Capacity, Rom Size, 3DS Firmware Version Required)
- Patch for 3DS ROM, force it downgrade to run in lower system version of 3DS
- Compress the capacity of 3DS Rom
It is released this morning. The tool has been tested with Gateway 3DS flashcart. It works successfully.
