Cobra ODE team has released new PCB revisions, including the PCB v. 4.20 and 4.30A, especially the Cobra ODE QSV. It is cheaper than the Cobra ODE.

Cobra ODE QSV is specially developed for PS3 2k5 / 3k slim and 4k/4k2 super slim consoles. It is much cheaper than the regular Cobra ODE. It supports all software and hardware updates. Cobra ODE QSV package is different from the regular Cobra ODE package as it does not include the USB cables, power cables or additional FFC cables. As those cables are mainly for FAT PATA and SATA CECHx/2k/2k1, which are not be compatible. According, its price has been cut down.

However, Cobra ODE QSV can not support the PATA/SATA FAT consoles or 2k.2k1 series slim consoles. For those users, you’d better choose the regular Cobra ODE as it is compatible with all PS3 console revisions, PATA and SATA excluding BMD BMD-21 BD drive control boards, SATA SLIM and Super SLIM consoles.
